Răzvan Roșca is a Romanian cinematographer whose work bridges narrative depth and visual precision. Based in Bucharest, he holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Cinematography from the National University of Theatre and Film "I.L. Caragiale" (UNATC).
His creative portfolio includes award-winning short films like Truth or Dare (Flori, Fete și Băieți), which earned him Best Cinematography Award for a short film from the Romanian Society of Cinematographers, and collaborations with directors such as Simona Borcea, Andreea Parfenov, Serghei Chiviriga, Theodor Ioniță, Theo Thorn and Dumitru Grosei.
In the commercial world, Răzvan has lensed projects for major brands including Pepsico, Philips, Porsche, Mercedes Benz, Kaufland, Lidl, P&G, working with established Romanian production houses like Grou Production, Jupiter, Saga Film, Studioset, Papa Pictures. He shoots his own projects via his production company Nomad Films.
Răzvan’s camera work is marked by a sensitivity to light, emotion, and atmosphere, often gravitating toward naturalistic visuals and grounded storytelling. Whether operating as DP, B-camera operator, or 1st AC on international features (Between Borders, Protégé), he brings versatility and a deep commitment to cinematic language.
He is interested in color grading and aims to prepare the look in pre-production in order to have a very close to final image on the monitors on set. He has also graded multiple projects including two feature films for theatrical release.

Facts & Figures:
In his youth he wanted to become a lawyer so he went to study law in Timisoara and got a scholarship at the University of Milan which taught him italian and Botellón.
As an avid motorbike rider he's done more than 20.000 KM in India on a motorbike often wearing only flip-flops. To this day he has never flat-footed a motorbike.
For fun and some adrenaline in the past 10 years he's been runnig the technical production for Romania's top journalism event Superscrieri on behalf of Friends for Friends Foundation.
